At Flow Pelvic Physio we advocate for women to exercise regularly throughout their Pregnancy and Postpartum journey, as research consistently shows the physical and psychological benefits gained from regular exercise*

Our Pre/Post natal pilates classes are run by our highly experienced Women’s and Pelvic Health Physios where we provide a fun and supportive environment where you can exercise safely and effectively.

Classes are specifically designed to support you both physically and mentally during a time of significant change and increased demands on your body. They follow the most up-to-date evidence for exercise during Pregnancy and the Postnatal period, with classes kept to a maximum of 4 people to ensure they are intimate and individualised. Exercises will be tailored and modified according to both your changing body and how you feel on that particular day. You will also be provided with home exercises to complement and support your classes.

Core to Floor classes

Our core to floor classes integrate the whole body with a specific focus on pelvic floor strength and core stability, to support women throughout all life stages.

Our Core to Floor classes are run by our highly experienced Women’s and Pelvic Health Physios where we provide a fun and supportive environment. These classes are prolapse, incontinence and osteoporosis friendly, meaning you can exercise safely and confidently.

Classes incorporate resistance based exercises such as free weights, resistance bands, body weight exercises and some pilates style exercises. Research shows the benefits of moderate intensity resistance training to  improve bone mineral density in postmenopausal women**
