What is involved in a Physiotherapy assessment?
After taking a detailed history to best understand your presenting concern, we will move into a physical assessment to look at how you move, your range of motion, your strength and your posture, focussing specifically on the area of concern as well as looking at your body as a whole.
Following your assessment a management plan will be made with you, reflective of your individual goals. Treatment usually includes a combination of;
Manual therapy (hands on) such as massage, joint mobilisation, stretching taping etc
Home exercise program (strength and flexibility/mobility)
